Contexte et environnement
The Cost Controller will lead and confirm that the Accounting Operation team is functioning in compliance with Total’s Code of Conduct and all HSE rules at the TotalEnergies Tower in Houston, Tx.

Activités
Provide leadership, guidance, and vision to the department. Anticipate and manage workflow, establish priorities, review performance, and support career planning and training.
Promote a culture of teamwork that motivates and challenges subordinates to grow beyond current job responsibilities.
Monitor and ensure the accuracy and justification of entries, ensuring compliance with branches, group financial reporting requirements, and SOX controls environment. Support financial consolidation reporting at local and global BU levels.
Develop working relationships with business and financial groups to participate actively in business activities and decisions.
Foster relationships with sites and affiliates, coordinate the implementation of proper accounting guidelines.
Knowledge and adherence to Company policies regarding internal controls and SOX compliance.
Hands-on role requiring strong change management skills and experience in working with and transferring activities to Shared Service Centers (SSCs).
Profil du candidat
Education/Experience Requirements:

BBA Degree in Accounting or similar
15 years of Accounting experience
CPA and/or MBA preferred
Deep knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards
