Activités
Oversees monthly performance review preparation and analysis for the businesses and present to the senior management of the subsidiary.
Responsible for the fixed cost analysis and identification of trends and opportunities to reduce expenditure. Supports the Head of Finance in the reporting on the global cost excellence initiatives.
Supports the year end forecasting process with the asset Team Leads to ensure year end forecasts on net operating income and CAPEX are accurate and reflect the potential risks and opportunities to meeting the annual budgets.
Develop and track major financial and non-financial KPI’s of the business and ensures these are regularly reviewed and that deviations and understood and addressed with department heads.
Coordinates the annual budget and long term planning processes for the renewables businesses.
Develop and maintain the tools and models necessary to complete the financial planning and analysis processes in an efficient manner.
Acts as the subject matter expert on Anaplan utilization and design for our businesses.
Perform on an as needed basis any financial due diligence on joint ventures, acquisitions or other strategic investments/activities.
Provide as needed financial support to management and commercial teams on all financial matters.
Analyze financial and renewable market data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in our businesses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Profil du candidat
Education/Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance. An MBA is highly desirable.
3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and/or auditing.
Proven experience with renewable energy developments and electricity markets in the US.
Demonstrated ability to manage financial activities in an international context.
Skills:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral) to effectively collaborate across internal functions (e.g., Accounting, Legal, Project Finance) and with external service providers.
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting under IFRS.
Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
Highly mobile, reactive, and available to meet dynamic business needs.
