The team, position & mission

Become a part of our Data Team as a Data Architect! Your expertise is crucial for designing and optimizing our modern data architectures. You will work with a team of highly skilled colleagues who focus on developing and implementing advanced data solutions. Our mission is to help our clients achieve their business goals through innovative data strategies and solutions. Your key areas of responsibility as Data Architect

You conceptualize data, software, cloud, microservice, or hybrid architectures

You guide colleagues in the implementation of your architectures
You present and communicate with clients to position our solutions
You create and conduct training sessions and workshops
You establish and enforce best practices and (coding) standards
You design cloud-native applications and/or migrate legacy applications
You conceptualize analysis systems and ETL processes
You design CI/CD pipelines and release/security levels
You advise on data governance, data lineage, and data security
You design data models (including databases and data warehouses)


As an ideal candidate you have

Experience with one of the hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Flexibility and confidence in customer interactions
Proven experience in customer interaction
Strengths in communicating and presenting specialized content
Relevant work experience with Cloudera, Databricks, or Apache Hadoop ecosystems (e.g., HBase, Spark, Flink, Drill, Impala, Kafka, Redis)
Knowledge in containerized development (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
Experience in designing microservices architectures
A good understanding of data infrastructures and cloud architectures
Proficiency in both English and German for effective communication

The process: We review applications continuously with the goal of starting interviews as soon as possible. You will start with an initial conversation with Dana (TA Manager). If there is mutual interest, an interview with team members will follow, where you will dive deeper into the (technical) details of the position.
