The team, position & mission:

As the IT Operations Manager at Orange Business Digital Services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and secure functioning of our IT systems. You will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives to elevate and centralize our IT capabilities within our IT department, managing a team of skilled professionals, and overseeing day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully transforming and managing IT operations.



Your key areas of responsibility as an IT Operations Manager:

Team Leadership:

Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Provide guidance for professional development, performance management, and goal-setting.
Infrastructure Management:

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Orange Business Digital Services' IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Manage hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems to meet organizational needs.
Operational Efficiency:

Develop and implement strategies to optimize IT operations, streamline processes, and enhance overall efficiency.
Proactively monitor system performance and address issues to minimize downtime.
Security and Compliance:

Establish and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard Orange Business Digital Services' information assets.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards through regular audits and assessments.
Vendor Management:

Collaborate with vendors to procure necessary IT equipment and services, negotiating contracts and agreements.
Evaluate and select third-party solutions aligning with Orange Business Digital Services' goals and objectives.
Budget Management:

Develop and manage the IT budget, effectively allocating resources and tracking expenses.
Identify opportunities for cost-saving and implement strategies to optimize IT spending.



As an ideal candidate you have: (this should focus on requirements/experience):

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (15+ years) in IT management, with a focus on transformation of operations and infrastructure.
A strong technical background in systems administration, network management, and cybersecurity.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams based in different locations through Europe.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
