WMS Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Work with the stakeholders to understand business requirements.
Build out Solution Template for different domains.(Retail, Petrochemicals, Cold Chain)
Develop program specifications, solutions, setup and configurations. Own and drive implementation end to end.
Design, implement, and maintain WMS customizations.
Build mapping for interfaces and subsequent integration with External Systems like SAP.
Be the POC for Operations during Implementation. Participate during RFQ, customer demoes.
Conversant and well versed in building out Labels and Reports .
Troubleshoot issues with applications. Cloud is preferred.
Should be able to recommend out the industry specific best practices.
Mentor and build software engineers.
Profile:

A total of 9-14 years of industry experience with at least 5-8 years of experience in WMS implementation and custom development .Familiarity with any of the WMS solutions like Manhattan/JDA/Korber/Infor. Infor WMS is preferred.
An engineer who has implemented system from start and handled end to end implementation. The individual should have gone through multiple implementation cycles across varied domains such as Retail, Cold Store, Pharma, FMCG. Should be from Supply Chain background.
Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred. Preferably in Computer Science or related STEM field.
Experienced in SQL and database concepts. Knowledgeable about SQL performance tuning.
Experienced with contract logistics business / WMS solution best practices
Experienced with reporting tools like PowerBI, Crystal Reports, Logi Reports and label creation tools like Bartender.
Experienced with Agile / Scrum practices; a good team player, balanced with the autonomy and motivation to produce individually.
Familiar with languages such as Java, code versioning tools like Git.
Familiar with EDI tools such as Seeburger, MuleSoft.
